Java And Jam At Jocie’s Porch

One of the summer highlights on Campobello are the weekly Friday gatherings at Jocie’s Porch. It’s called “Java and Jam” and whoever can sing or play an instrument is part of the entertainment for the numerous crowd.     Jocie’s Porch has the reputation of offering the best coffee east of the Mississippi. And that is well deserved as Bobby, the owner, is roasting his very own coffee beans. Another great benefit is the location at “Friar’s Bay” with a really grand view across the water all the way to Eastport,Maine. Sunsets at Friar’s Bay are  spectacular and usually you can find people sitting in their vehicles along the road watching the sun go down. Campobello is also an island of Lupines ”I love this island”, Bea said yesterday while looking out the window and feeling the peace and I couldn’t agree more. It’s simply the best place in the world.
